Minna Gombell (born Minnie Gombell Whitsel, 1892-1975) was an American actress known for her prolific film career, especially in the 1930s and 1940s.

Specializing in supporting roles, Gombell excelled at portraying practical, cynical, or strong-willed women: loyal friends, outspoken waitresses, or worldly figures. Her incisive screen presence and sardonic flair made her an unforgettable character actress.

Among her most significant films are "The Merry Widow" (1934), "The Great Ziegfeld" (1936), "Boom Town" (1940), and "Comrade X" (1940). Although rarely in leading roles, Minna Gombell was a master at leaving a memorable impression in every appearance, contributing vibrancy and authenticity to the many feature films in which she acted.
