Natalya Sergeevna Bondarchuk is a Russian actress and film director, daughter of the celebrated actors and directors Sergei Bondarchuk and Inna Makarova.
She achieved international fame with the role of Hari in Andrei Tarkovsky's masterpiece *Solaris* (1972), which launched her onto the global cinematic stage. Among her most significant performances is also that of Mariya Volkonskaya in *Zvezda plenitelnogo schastya* (The Star of Captivating Happiness, 1975), directed by her father.
Bondarchuk is known for portraying complex female characters, characterized by profound sensitivity, intelligence, and a certain ethereal quality, often strong-willed figures.
