She is universally remembered for her collaboration with Luis Buñuel, particularly for her iconic role as Alicia de Roc in *El Ángel Exterminador* (1962), where she masterfully embodies claustrophobia and bourgeois alienation. She also worked in his other films such as *Ensayo de un crimen* (1955) and *Nazarín* (1959).
