**Rita Macedo** (Mexico City, 1925 – 1993) was a Mexican actress, a prominent figure in national cinema. Her career spanned several decades, distinguishing herself through her versatility and charisma.

She is universally remembered for her collaboration with Luis Buñuel, particularly for her iconic role as Alicia de Roc in *El Ángel Exterminador* (1962), where she masterfully embodies claustrophobia and bourgeois alienation.
