Robert Warwick (1878-1964) was an American actor, initially a Broadway stage star before transitioning to film. His film career spanned the silent and sound eras, establishing himself with his distinguished bearing and aristocratic appearance.

Warwick excelled in roles as authoritative and sophisticated figures, often portraying military officers, judges, wealthy patriarchs, or high-ranking nobles. His versatility also allowed him to portray elegant antagonists. Among his most notable films are *The Iron Mask* (1929), in which he portrayed D'Artagnan, *A Tale of Two Cities* (1935) as Marquis St. Evremonde, and *Sullivan's Travels* (1941). A reliable supporting cast member, his long career saw him active until the 1950s.
