Svetlana Danilchenko
**Svetlana Danilchenko** (1947-2008) was a Soviet actress, active mainly in the 1970s. She is best remembered for her iconic role as Larisa, the kind flight attendant in Georgij Danelija's acclaimed film *Mimino* (1977), which brought her widespread recognition.
Other significant appearances include *Afonya* (1975), where she played a Komsomol activist, and *Osenniy Marafon* (Autumn Marathon, 1979), in the role of the daughter. Danilchenko was known for her ability to portray positive, upright, and often idealized female characters: nurses, teachers, or, indeed, flight attendants. Her style was characterized by a calm presence and measured acting, which lent credibility and depth to her roles. Although her career was relatively brief, her characters remain etched in the memory of Soviet cinema.
