Umberto Bevilacqua was a prolific character actor in Italian cinema, primarily active in the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. His career is inextricably linked to the horror, poliziottesco, and exploitation genres.

With his robust physique and often grim face, Bevilacqua specialized in supporting roles, frequently portraying criminals, hitmen, ambiguous authoritarian figures, or sacrificial victims.
